"I was hurting myself trying SO hard to be what others wanted me to be."

Tamara's biggest obstacle to overcome was when she was 14...

The hardest thing I've ever had to face in my life is self-esteem, but more so isolation. I've never truly have tried to isolate myself, but in certain places like school, or any other public places really I've always felt different from other people. I, at times, thought maybe something was wrong with me and I tried to change and fit myself into a little box. Later realizing that I was hurting myself trying SO hard to be what others wanted me to be. I overcame the situation by choosing to not focus so much on what I or what others thought of me. I looked to God. He showed me that I was loved and that if I wanted to love others I had to learn to love myself. After a series of times honestly and truly seeking God, he helped me to overcome my obstacle of burden.
