"My husband and I met in one of the most crazy ways possible..."

"My husband and I met in one of the most crazy ways possible, but I wouldn't have it any other way, because of it, I met my soulmate. We had never met, but my husband and I were no strangers to each other. We were friends on social media for the longest, 5 years to be exact. We had mutual friends who knew each other, but never really crossed paths. I remember a time when he had asked to take me out to a baseball game; SF Giants. I had first told him yes but later told him no. I believe it drifted us to different directions. At the time, I did not have any interest and did not wish to lead him on. I stopped messaging him. I got into a relationship a year after with someone else but remained friends with my husband on social media. Another year passed and I was dumped. I was in distress, but I wasn't on the verge of dying because I knew my self-worth. Moreover, during that time of need, my husband was there with me again. He came back into my life, he talked to me, listened and comforted me. Many had thought I wanted him for a rebound, but honestly, I didn't know such word existed. When I found out what it meant I was furious, I would never treat anyone in such a way. We then met for the very first time, he took me out to get some fresh air. Honestly, he was the sweetest man. He and I continued to see each other the second week, and I believe this was the moment I fell in love with him. I was crying on his shoulder, and he softly caressed my head. Right at that very moment, I felt something, I looked at him and I knew that I loved him already. After a few months of dating, he and I tied the knot. We have our ups and down, but no matter what we are stronger together. We have accomplished so many things together, with us side by side we can just do so much. In 2020, even with the pandemic, he and I managed to open our small online business; Explore Creation. He and I enjoy traveling, and that's what encouraged us to launch Explore Creation. We are slowly growing our business, but I know we wouldn't have been able to do it without each other's support. Whether it becomes big or not, we still did it. My husband is indeed my strength despite the little arguments we have. He is everything I ask for. He is my husband, my friend, and travel partner. He is the one I want to travel the world with. He is the one I want my future kids to call dad. He is the one I want to continue to create a business with. He is the one I want to grow old with. We are not two perfect people, but I believe we balance each other out. We have encountered many obstacles in the past, but as long as we have each other we will be okay. We will continue to grow together. Our words of encouragement and love for each other is the key to our success. While we both are pursuing and furthering our education, side by side, we can do it. My message to my husband Chai is; I am stronger with you and I know it. We will continue to do great things. I love you." - IG: the_caligirl
