"I never in a million years thought we would be married and here we are 24 years later."

"I met my husband of 24 years at a distribution center. He was a Sorter and I was a Package handler. My sister and I tell this story all the time. He is quite a bit younger than I am. So...we (my sister and I) were unloading packages. He was our sorter. We were really showing off and started unloading packages so fast that the sorter belt got backed up, which caused it to shut down. We unloaded packages like this, shutting the belt down, about three more times. He finally yelled at us...hey in there, you get paid by the hour not by the box. After about a week of the same stuff, he must have got fed up. We would see him walking down the sort aisle looking in the trailers to see if we were his package handlers. If we were, he would move on. I'm chucking to myself writing this, because even to this day it still funny. I never in a million years thought we would be married and here we are 24 years later. Of course, we had our ups and downs. But we are definitely stronger together. That's what your bracelets meant to me when I purchased them." - Sherry Peters
